Cousas que esqueces ao marchar
Digital photography
2020
The day my grandmother died, still in shock, I brought my camera to her house. The atmosfera felt similar to a yet to be affected spot in the radio of a bomb that has just hit the land.
With these pictures, that could have never been taken on a different day, I was willing to preserve the last traces of her essence to be found on the most daily tasks results.
“Things you forget when leaving” is a poem, a one way conversation in order to make ammends with memories and say goodbye in a peaceful way.
